exposed still

Exposed at Other Cinema–Saturday, 3/14!

I’ll have a fresh brew on tap at Other Cinema in San Francisco. I used Nate Smith’s recipe for an IPA called “The Dankness”. It’s loaded with Sterling, Apollo, Citra, Simcoe, and Summit hops, clocking in at 89 IBUs and 7% ABV. Come out and try it! From the OC calendar: “Tigger, Bunny Love, Dirty Martini, and Bambi the Mermaid use satire and their own bodies to send up conventional notions of body image, gender, and sexuality in their post-modern burlesque performances. NY underground film legend Beth B enters their subversive world both on the stage and behind-the-scenes, in this provocative portrait of bawdy artists gleefully breaking taboos as they entertain.”

stovetop brewing class

Stovetop Brewing Workshop Coming Up–Sunday, 3/15

Learn to make your own beer in this 3 hour workshop. I’ll show you the whole process of all-grain brewing on your stovetop, even all the way to bottling beer. Any beer you bottle, you can take home! And of course we’ll be doing a lot of beer tasting, just to be sure we get our recipe right. We’ll be making a deliciously hoppy IPA. Come thirsty… for knowledge!
